GOD'S MIRROR

1 Samuel 16:7

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

   David was young and seemingly unable. He was only a Shepard and nothing much. Samuel was looking for the new king of Israel. He was looking for the person God wanted. Going to Jesse's home and put up the program, Jesse knew clearly what Samuel meant. Jesse knew the king was among the older and seemingly able boys. But that wasn't the way of the Lord. The mirror of the Lord showed something else. The mirror showed a person in the fields who was almost unwanted. The mirror showed a Shepard.

The judgment threshold that people use to gauge your worth is not the same threshold that God uses to gauge you. It may be similar but always different in many cases. 
People gave you names in 2024. They called you names in line with what they thought you are. They used there crooked mirrors to view you. They used their crooked lenses to see you; but God Is not going by their words. God is not using their mirrors; He is not using their standards. God is using a standard that is in higher realms. He is using an extraordinary threshold.

Even at the calling of David as Shepard, that didn't make God call him Shepard of cattle but rather king of His people. He called him the Shepard of his people. He called him the forefather from which Christ will come. That was wonderful.

There is a mirror that God is using to see you. Even your own mirror may not be the best mirror to use to see yourself in 2025. Your own name may not be the best name you give yourself. There is a heavenly name that God has given you which will shape your journey through 2025. God sees you different. There is a royalty God has set for you in the new age. You may think that you are the last of a kind in your clan; but God is going to bring up new heroes in your lineage just like David. He is going to make great marks that will be remembered. Let your faith be unto God. Set your hopes above and believe in the abundance that waits you this year.
