CULMINATION:               BLOODY LIFE Matthew 16:21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. --------------------------------------------        There is a way we seem to forget some rule. We tend to forget the trend of life . We tend to forget the way it feels to ride on a road to success. We tend to forget the pain that lies on a road to higher heights.  Jesus being the son of God would make us think that he wouldn't have to be persecuted and wouldn't have had to suffer in that way. Even when he could call angels to strike the opponents, he didn't do so. He knew the rule clearly. He knew the kind of life he was supposed to live. CULMINATION :                 TWILIGHT Luke 22:42 “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. --------------------------------------------        Did Jesus sweat blood or was it that his sweat dropped like blood from a skin? The above verse tells that it was like....like like blood.  Anyways let's continue to search;  In the blueish expanse, they sat on the slope counting time. The Messiah was counting pains. Knowing he should die is something else, but knowing how he would die drives great natural fears. Knowing what is exactly your death becomes another pain to deal with before the real occasion. If Jesus sacrificed His glorious existence in heaven and came down to die for us - the sinners, then how much treasured are the human beings living on the planet. It is like spending 50,000 to save an object. Could you say the fifty thousand you spent is far better than the object you saved? The greatest element that drives the brain to work harder is when there is a promise of pleasure afterwards.  Working can be a stone in the shoe. You never complete tasks. Every day presents it's own task list which seems never to end and also seems repetitive. A dream can feel far and too big to tackle.
