NEW EDEN

Isaiah 43:19

 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

     In those day, the Israelites suffered so much in the hands of the Egyptians. They had no hope. They had no one to call. They had no freedom. And they suffered for 400 years hopeless. But Jehovah remembered them. He sent His own to recover them . He set a new Eden for them.

There are times of suffering. There are times of sorrow. But there are also precious times. They are the times for a new Eden. Lamenting in the past seasons is not an end in itself. The hunger and inadequacy of the last season does not mark the end of the road. There is something new that awaits. 

God always thinks about you. As you are sleeping in the night, Jehovah is planning for you. As you are celebrating the new year, God is celebrating the victory that He sees ahead of you. 

Dear child of God, don't think you are walking alone. Don't think that God has abandoned you. Don't think that your plans in 2024 have all been crumbled. There is a plan that is above all plans. There is a God that is above all Gods. If you thought that it is all over, a new thing springs forth. God is creating a river in the wilderness.

The widow was sick and tired. She had tried her level best to seek for justice but all in vain. She went to the king to seek for justice against her foes. The king was busily attending to other matters of the kingdom and didn't want disturbance. Of course she excused the king at the first attempt. She later went back to the king to seek for justice. The king was not into her business and was up to other royal matters. She left in dismay. But she kept on going to the king to seek for justice. The king thought to himself, that if he doesn't give this widow what she seeks for, then the widow would wear him out with her consistent coming. So she was granted the justice. She entered her Eden. Her new life was better than the former.
