PURSUE RIGHTEOUSNESS.

*WITHIN SCRIPTURE.* 

*1 Peter:3.12* 
 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil." .13 Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?

Like at one time we said that the relationship you have with God determines how much you tap into the spiritual resources; righteousness is one component that shows the relationship you have with God.

Doing what is right in the eyes of God is righteousness. 
God cannot give you His full attention unless you present righteousness before Him. Righteousness shows that your heart is for God and that your attention is onto Him alone. If God knows for sure that your heart is for Him alone, He will not let His hands and eyes drive away from you. His hands that provide abundantly will always provide for you. His eyes that keep watch over you against the enemy will always watch you.

At times we run to God hurriedly in prayer expecting Him to quickly workout for us. But as we do so, we don't consider our degree of relationship we have with Him. Take an example from our daily lives. You cannot go and borrow commodities from a shop that you don't usually buy from. But you find it easier to borrow from that shop that you occasionally buy from. It is because of the difference in the relationships.

Whatever it is, just do what you are supposed to do in this journey of your salvation. Just go to church occasionally and just give your heart to God during those services. Just tithe with one heart always. Just read your bible daily.
 Just just just do what God expects of you. That is righteousness. His hands of abundance will drive in your direction.
