GOODNESS AS A WEAPON.

 GOODNESS AS A WEAPON.

Romans 12:17-21
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
--------------------------------------------
In human nature, someone that wrongs you entices you to throw back the same measure just to hurt them the way you feel you have been hurt. Yes they need to be hurt like you have. But the Bible rightly says that it is not for you to avenge, vengeance is the Lord's.

You might be hurt by someone else. Someone may have done you the wrong. God will surely pay back.
Just then there is a simplified weapon here, that Romans speaks about. Paying evil with good. You cannot control how much evil people do; you cannot control how people behave towards you. But you can control how you behave, how you respond.

Doing exactly what your enemies do doesn't make you any different. Being the different kind from your enemies is doing the opposite of what they do.
Anytime you show such character of good acts yet your enemies fight hard to do the evil, you let them retain a burden of unanswered questions. They literally do evil against you to hurt you; which in turn ,they expect a response in terms of a quarrel or fight. But if their expectations are brought to nothing because you continually do right acts, you heap coals upon them. They become restless with shame and disappointments. Their hearts ache.

You cannot overcome the world by doing what the world does. You have to be a little different from the world. You have to be Christlike. You have to show the love among the haters. Show the giving spirit among the greedy. Open your heart and let God's light shine upon you.; Shining against the wrong doers. Be the light among the darkness. You are a child of God. Be a god among your people.

                 _GOD BLESS YOU_

TRIBE OF LENDERS

TRIBE OF LENDERS   Proverbs 19:17  He who is kind and generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward him for what he has done. -------------------------------------------- It is easy to go through life with the mind of "it's not enough...it's not enough". By nature, we were created to recognize the fact that it's we first then .... We were created to survive and always know that there is not enough. Our genes have been made to think about ourselves alone and how we survive in the world of scarcity. This fact that thrives within us is not supposed to be proved true. There are several results that God has set for those that prove such rules wrong. You know, when you try to go against human nature and try to mimic the nature of God, you attract more of what God has set for the cause. As the human nature is self centered and self seeking, stepping out of such to pursue kindness and open hands attracts God's attention...it attracts the rewa...

OLDEN STRENGTH

OLDEN STRENGTH Psalm 77:1 I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. -------------------------------------------- It is easy to go through life thinking about the future and forgetting the past. Craving for the future is one thing I have realized does not end. Even the very rich still have cravings. There can not be a moment where cravings end and the mind is inactive only thriving in gratification. Such a moment is only created by us. Anyway, that was a by- the- way. Our point starts from here. The future does not hold the roots but the past does. The roots are not from the sky but are from where the tree started. What makes the tree strong are the roots .  What makes the future strong are the roots. They are the past. You cannot know where you should go unless you know where you came from. How typical you may know where you came from is another factor.  Knowing that God is great is not knowing the future that holds. Knowing that Go...

FORWARD

FORWARD Luke 13:33  In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—... --------------------------------------------    A Levite in the desert thought was cunning. After killing the Egyptian, he sauntered back to the community. Little did he realise that he was noticed by his fellow and that the news had gone about faster than it could. Knowing this, he fled to Midian where he met the Lord. And being asked by the Lord to rescue his people from slavery, Moses refused. He thought that role was better with someone more superior. But after the Lord insisting, he took the task. The people who were thought as slaves were no lesser to stubbornness and disrespect. They gave Moses hard time. But one thing that happened was forward movement.  Even the Lord used lots of wonders to sustain them through the journey and yet many died from their stubbornness. But regardless of their deaths, the journey went forward. God moved forward. Moses faced the worst of trial...
