 BE STILL.

 Exodus 14:13

Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Just that the challenge looks over us, many times we tend to fight our own way over it. We struggle by physical might to overcome the mountainous challenge.

It is verse 14 of the book that caught my attention. It says that you only need to stand still. That God will fight the war,...yes.., but you also need to be still . You need to be at peace. You need to believe.
Many time we have assumed the position of God and have tried to fight battles that are meant for God. We have assumed God's shoes and think we are the ones supposed to fight.

When the Bible says that the battle is God's and the victories are yours, you had better understood what that clearly means. It can't mean you fight and God takes the glory. No. If it were so, then God would be taking glories on credit; the glories that He never deserved. God takes the glory because He was there fighting the battles. He knows He made it with His own hand. The victory becomes yours because you had the battle. 

We are nothing without God. The devil in his nature is more cunning than we are. He is more intelligent than we are. We become more than him if we only add onto ourselves the Spirit of God....if we add God to ourselves. It is God that makes us look more than conquers. But then He needs us to always leave the space that He needs in fighting our battles. He , on the earthly contract with us, needs to gain glory for Himself. He cannot gain the glory if we assume His position and try to fight the battles the He should be fighting. He needs to do it himself. You only need to stand still. Stillness gives way for the Spirit of God to work. It clearly shows who is the lead in the battle. 

The Egyptians of this world may have risen against you, be still . The mountains of this world may have gone beyond you, be still. Things may not be working out like they are supposed to be, just be still....you only need to do that. Let God take the lead. Don't reason as if there is no tomorrow, let Him reason the battle. Let Him prevail. His hand is never too short. His might power is not limited. He is not weak .He can do much more. He is more than a conquerer. He is more than able. He is strong enough. Whatever it is, stand firm and see the Deliverance of God today.
