MIND YOUR BUSINESS
MIND YOUR BUSINESS
1 Thessalonians 4:12
Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, 12 so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.
--------------------------------------------
We are surrounded by a cloud of people that either increase us or decrease us. One very good thing I have seen is that anybody can have any opinion about you. And any opinion can mean to fit you just according to how to take it to be.
The great people that have seen the best versions of their selves have been those that don't talk about others all day long. They have not been the people that sit around and discuss people.
They are ones who mind their business.
Christ had a cross to carry. What would have become of Him if he discussed about the Pharisees all his life? Would he be motivated by the spirit of scripture if he minded the business of others. He was a person who had his schedule at hand. We see it in several verses how he did a task after the other. Mark actually summarizes the codes of conduct the Messiah had. He uses phrases such as soon after, immediately; to refer to how Jesus was a person of his business.
He was able to accomplish all he was sent to ,just within the stipulated time.
Many of us never finish what we owe to finish just because we never mind our own business. People will come and tell you all the negative things that you wouldn't love to hear. They will come and heap abuses in you. They will intimate you . They will accuse you. They will mock the small start-up. But the first line of the scripture says make it an ambition to lead a QUIET life. Quiet means being deaf to those Ill words. Just move on.
Never mind what people say, they will always have what to say. Never mind what they do...you also have what to do. Speaking about others with all sorts of rumors means your emotions depends on others. Don't waste your time speaking about the success of others with demotivating attitude; you have your road to success. Rework all that is before you. Respect is achieved from such a quiet industrious spirit. What is in you is enough. Focus on your inner energies other than the frequencies that others produce. Focus on the roles that you are supposed to play. Mind your business. The best in you comes from the degree of focus on the inner self.
GOD BLESS YOU
