STAND FOR THE RIGHT

Daniel 3:16

 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

One nice phrase I like about the above scripture is the one of ," God we serve is able to save us from it, and ....even if he does not... , we will not serve your god..."

The statement shows how firm the three men had been in regards to their faith and the wrong that they were told to do. They had made up their minds to never follow the wrong whether death or life beacons. 
They were all surrounded by many people who had made up to it to save their lives by doing the wrong that the king requested. But they never looked at how they stood out among the many people who were all doing the same thing.

There are people in our lives who come up and push us towards the wrong paths. They push us towards what is not our journey. Well...at times their push may not be to the wrong sinful desire, but just to deviate you from the paths that lead direct to your dreams.

As Christians, we all may have had such scenarios as someone trying to pursued us in doing wrong. Even today we see it among governments, the might pursued the weak towards accepting wrong things as good. Yes such forces exist within us, outside us, all-over the world to government levels. Just within our hearts, there are forces that whisper the wrong doctrine to us and want us to follow. The voices remind you of the "fun time" you had before you were saved and that if you could only go back to that life, "happiness" will come back.

But regardless of the voices you hear and regardless of where and who says it you got to stand for the right. You need to take in the doctrine of the spirit. You need to do the right thing. It may temporarily feel weight - taking on the right thing against the wrong thing, but the fruit of such actions and everlasting and rewarding. 
God is happy with the son who pushes rightful buttons regardless of the wrong voices. He is happy with you if you stand for the right. Just be like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Just try to emulate the spirit that these three men had. Try to stand up courageously and say no to the wrong. God will always be on your side. I mean why would God not take your side if you stood up for the right thing? The eyes of God are on the righteous and his hears are attentive to their prayers.
