Psalms 37:4 

 Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.

What we call blessings is not what someone else calls blessing. There was a man who had an accident. He was a little elderly and weak. The accident made his condition even worse. He was taken to hospital and that only what could save him was pipes of oxygen. He survived death because of pipes of oxygen. If such pipes were given to you, you won't consider them a blessing like the man did.

 There is someone who eats all meals every day, and there is someone who survives on one meal a day. One who survives on one meal a day calls three meals a blessing.
God blesses us according to the desires of our hearts. But what if someone didn't have desires, what ground would the Lord stand to bless them.? There would be nothing God would base on to channel the blessing.

Do you think the blessings of the rich are same as the blessings of the poor.? Well the desires of the rich are not the desires of the poor! 
What if you channeled your desire to that of the rich; how much work would God have to set a new standard of blessings? 

The scripture has told us that if we delight in the Lord, he will give us the desires of our hearts. You can shape the blessing of the Lord by shaping your desires as you delight in the Lord. It is great work to shape desires. It means that what you dream should change in magnitude. It means that what you wish should change in volume. It means that your goals should be smart and big . You should change and try to think big. Let your heart desire to thrive at higher realms of life.

Try to change the desires of your heart. Try to put on the shoes of your role model. Try to put on the shoe of the great self that you think you can be. Shape your future by better desires. If you desired one pair of shoe, try to desire three pairs. If you desired to be employed, try to desire being the company manager. It is through such streams of shaped desires that the Lord will channels new package of blessings. Delight in the Lord, and he will give you whatever desires of your heart according to his good and pleasant will.
