BLESSED FAITH

Luke 1:45

 Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!”

In all generation, it was a never heard of reality. There was no reality as a woman to bear children single handedly. Even in the miracles that were heard of, such a miracle was never enlisted. But there they were, Mary was promised to have a child and her husband was to be Joseph. But even before statements sunk in her virgin soul, she was pregnant. She was pregnant through the power of the holy Spirit.
But how could she ever tell her relatives about her new status.? How on earth could she explain her claim? But not going further, just right within her, how much of faith could she have to make her believe the angelic messages. 
Well, she took on the blind beliefs. But one thing I have noticed is that many of biblical heroes who made faith first were blessed before the fruit of their faith. The first statement that Job said after he was told that all who were his children are dead was that God has given and God has taken away. "Naked did I come and naked will I go." It was a strong sign of strong faith. There was nothing that prompted job to ever say a cursing word to his God. He presented faith even before he heard a word from God. God blessed him double fold because of the faith he had..." first hand Faith.".

Faith alone in the promises of our father calls for a blessing. It is like someone says he will buy you a house and that because you quickly believed that, he gives you cash at hand. It is blessed faith. There is a difference between Thomas who believed that Jesus rose again after he had seen and touched Him than those who were simply told and they believed at first hand. 
An element that we all need in our faith is the element of "first hand Faith.". You should not take too long to believe God's words. Believe God in whichever way He says it. Believe that He is able to do something with you even when you don't feel it was ever done. A blessing awaits for "first hand faith".
