SONGS OF ANGELS

 Luke 2:12

 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”

The news about His birth couldn't be held in silence. There were might angels that were set out to proclaim His birth. 
Shepards lying in wait for the animals expected nothing. They were on their usual routine. Suddenly an angel came to them with unique news. He openly tells them that Christ - the savior has been born. And that they will find him in a manger in Bethlehem.
But besides all of these, have you ever wondered as to whether these people really kept keen watch over the Christ that was born; as he grew to become a preacher? I mean they had waited for the savior to be born as the prophesies had it , and that if they were told, they could keep track of this boy and accept him when he grew. Anyway, maybe by the time he grew, the first witnesses passed away.

The angel who delivered the good news was not alone , a might swarm of angels came along to sing the great songs; "glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests... Joy to the world, the Christ is born. And man will be live for ever because of the great birth..."

The song is of peace. It is of a great future that God promises His children. It is of great victory. It is a song of a great union between God and humanity.

One thing to take to heart is the fact that God has set a future for us. We don't need to be afraid. Even when we go through the valley of shadow of death, God is with us. He has set weapons to fight for us. There is peace that God has set for us that is beyond comprehension. It is the peace that comes with the birth. He has set knowledge to us. In as much as the angels openly told the Shepards that Christ their savior is born is the fact that God is able to reveal a hidden future unto us.
If you feel broken and tired, there is peace here. The Angels sing peace. Listen to what they say. Immanuel- God with us.
