 James 4:13

 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.

It is not proper for man to thinketh that he got all the time. There has been an allocation of time to everyone and everyone will leave as their time is done. 

Bit even within the time itself, there are different allocation of time that have been made as the man walks through this world. There has been a time allocated to happiness and there has been a time allocated to sorrow. The man has not been created to be happy for all his life time and neither has he been created to be sorrowful all his life time.
Even in the events of matters, some things have been made to come unnoticed to man. Calamity will come yet man is expected to be ready and act . 

"If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that." That means that man should have a listing of matters to be acted upon as the Lord lets him live. And in his short time that is like a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes, he should act with urgency.

He should do things while knowing that tomorrow is never certain. He should save resources like money while knowing calamity could befall him. He should seek his God when there is time . He should do everything with a sense of urgency - before his creator flips pages of time to the next agenda..

Not knowing that there is little time left makes man sit and imagine fancies . He tends to spend more time dreaming than acting. He takes his own desired pace to act . That doesn't yield progress. Act with urgency. Know that there is no time to lament about the past. Know that there is no time to over think about failure. The time you have is to act. Act with urgency. Be quick to change. Be quick to let go the failed relationship. Be quick to say no to non-entities to your future. Be fast. The future is green and is near. How fast are you running?
