HISTORY WITH GOD

HISTORY WITH GOD

Leviticus 26:13

I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high.
--------------------------------------------
Long time ago, in the times far away, you were desperate and needed help. You prayed day and night. You sought for Jehovah Jireh to provide. You wanted somebody to be besides you. You needed a history.

Jehovah shammah was present. He become the somebody you could lean on . He became the very help in the times of trouble. He made a history with you.
Have you realised that you have come a long way yet you still remain health and strong to praise God. Many have died but who are you to still remain alive? Many have slept hungry, but who are you to have food? Many have died because of hunger, many died in the pandemic, who are you?

Because of the seemingly unending challenges, many of us become desperate. We think God of ages has left us. And even after many rounds of prayer, the living God seems not to hear and answer. Such rythms make us to forget the great history. We forget the history where Jehovah rapha protected us against the pandemic. We forget how the same God healed the illness that seemed stuck to our bodies. We forget how our God has kept the legacy with those He loves.

My friend even when there are challenges now that may seem a reflection of Egypt , always know that the God of your history will aid you through. Even when there are thorns in your way, remember that in history; God broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with head held high. He is the God who made you what you are. He still has a better plan to drive you to better angles.
He still is able to provide you today. He is able to heal you today. He is able to make you a "somebody" today.
Lift those hands to Jesus...the perfector of our faith. Make your request known. Our God is here. He is here to make greater history with you.

                      GOD BLESS YOU

TRIBE OF LENDERS

TRIBE OF LENDERS   Proverbs 19:17  He who is kind and generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward him for what he has done. -------------------------------------------- It is easy to go through life with the mind of "it's not enough...it's not enough". By nature, we were created to recognize the fact that it's we first then .... We were created to survive and always know that there is not enough. Our genes have been made to think about ourselves alone and how we survive in the world of scarcity. This fact that thrives within us is not supposed to be proved true. There are several results that God has set for those that prove such rules wrong. You know, when you try to go against human nature and try to mimic the nature of God, you attract more of what God has set for the cause. As the human nature is self centered and self seeking, stepping out of such to pursue kindness and open hands attracts God's attention...it attracts the rewa...

OLDEN STRENGTH

OLDEN STRENGTH Psalm 77:1 I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. -------------------------------------------- It is easy to go through life thinking about the future and forgetting the past. Craving for the future is one thing I have realized does not end. Even the very rich still have cravings. There can not be a moment where cravings end and the mind is inactive only thriving in gratification. Such a moment is only created by us. Anyway, that was a by- the- way. Our point starts from here. The future does not hold the roots but the past does. The roots are not from the sky but are from where the tree started. What makes the tree strong are the roots .  What makes the future strong are the roots. They are the past. You cannot know where you should go unless you know where you came from. How typical you may know where you came from is another factor.  Knowing that God is great is not knowing the future that holds. Knowing that Go...

FORWARD

FORWARD Luke 13:33  In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—... --------------------------------------------    A Levite in the desert thought was cunning. After killing the Egyptian, he sauntered back to the community. Little did he realise that he was noticed by his fellow and that the news had gone about faster than it could. Knowing this, he fled to Midian where he met the Lord. And being asked by the Lord to rescue his people from slavery, Moses refused. He thought that role was better with someone more superior. But after the Lord insisting, he took the task. The people who were thought as slaves were no lesser to stubbornness and disrespect. They gave Moses hard time. But one thing that happened was forward movement.  Even the Lord used lots of wonders to sustain them through the journey and yet many died from their stubbornness. But regardless of their deaths, the journey went forward. God moved forward. Moses faced the worst of trial...
