SELF CONTROL 1 Thessalonians 4:4 that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable --------------------------------------------     God in his making of creation, He made flesh also. The flesh He made is like another consciousness that rides together with man's spirit. But the flesh's consciousness can command patterns that are weird and not good for a child of God. We may ask , why didn't God make the flesh perfect so that we may live under super perfection without sinful desire and without compromising to our own rules ? The flesh is made to teach us the line between good and bad; and how to run for the good and please the creator. We wouldn't be able to please the creator if there is nothing wrong to denounce. THE CREED AT THE THRONE   Psalms 40:1  I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. -------------------------------------------- There are of course alot of times we pray for something and we feel we need that fast enough. And if am not mistaken , it is most of the times that we pray. We simply want answers right then. And some demand for the answers right away. But either way, you want God to come to your aid at the time you think He should come. But have you ever wondered why some people pray and receive their answers alittle fast compared to a similar prayer someone else had? Well that happens, you can pray and I pray the same thing yet we receive answers at different times.  With the scripture above, interpreting it may seem easy, but diving into it could seem a bit hard. OLDEN STRENGTH Psalm 77:1 I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. -------------------------------------------- It is easy to go through life thinking about the future and forgetting the past. Craving for the future is one thing I have realized does not end. Even the very rich still have cravings. There can not be a moment where cravings end and the mind is inactive only thriving in gratification. Such a moment is only created by us. Anyway, that was a by- the- way. Our point starts from here. The future does not hold the roots but the past does. The roots are not from the sky but are from where the tree started. What makes the tree strong are the roots .  What makes the future strong are the roots. They are the past. You cannot know where you should go unless you know where you came from.
