THE EFFICIENCY OF CHARACTER.


*2 Peter:1.5* 
 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; .6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; .7 and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. .8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

At one point the leader and founder of apple said......that one thing that sets aside successful entrepreneurs and unsuccessful entrepreneurs is a spirit of pure perseverance. 
It is having character in whatever you do that determines great success.

If you think you have faith, do you have enough knowledge added to your faith. If you have the knowledge about that venture that you have undertaken, do have increasing measure of character.

The more character you have , the more productive. 
More perseverance, more tolerance, more patience; all help us become more effective in whatever we do;In the knowledge of christ and daily life. The knowledge of christ we mean all that is done under Christ's umbrella. You are a prophet, you are in the knowledge of christ. You are a pastor, you are in the knowledge of christ.

As a pastor, prophet, how much knowledge have you added to your gift to make it better, productive and effective? How much perseverance have you added.?

OLDEN STRENGTH Psalm 77:1 I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. -------------------------------------------- It is easy to go through life thinking about the future and forgetting the past. Craving for the future is one thing I have realized does not end. Even the very rich still have cravings. There can not be a moment where cravings end and the mind is inactive only thriving in gratification. Such a moment is only created by us. Anyway, that was a by- the- way. Our point starts from here. The future does not hold the roots but the past does. The roots are not from the sky but are from where the tree started. What makes the tree strong are the roots .  What makes the future strong are the roots. They are the past. You cannot know where you should go unless you know where you came from. After killing the Egyptian, he sauntered back to the community. Little did he realise that he was noticed by his fellow and that the news had gone about faster than it could. Knowing this, he fled to Midian where he met the Lord. And being asked by the Lord to rescue his people from slavery, Moses refused. He thought that role was better with someone more superior.
