QUEST FOR THE CROSS

Matthew 27:51-53

At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people. When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

     Jesus has finally won. Have you ever wondered what the tearing of the temple curtains and the earth quakes and the tombs falling open all meant? Today God has made it.
There were names that were given to us because we were under the shackles of darkness. Lucifer had tagged us on his black pages with all sorts of names .

There was a limit at which we were supposed to interact with the divine God. Some other things had set the standard for our connection with God. They had set the limit to where we could stop at finding mercies. 
Even to what God has blessed us with, Lucifer - the greedy serpent had buried alot. He had burried the life we could enjoy and we only enjoyed a little. He had taken what rightfully belonged to us and hidden it. The enemy had set us in chains. We were slaves unknowingly but worked day and night all to have our efforts buried. 

Little did they know that the great miracle is happening. A cross had been set that will tumble all the things that had been set against us. Jesus was crucified. 
The curtains that tore open show how we have now gotten freedom to access God without any barriers. It means you don't have to wait for your pastor to pray for you before you heal. Pray right now and God will listen to you. 

The earth that shook shows God's power over the earth and all on it. This means that whatever our lives hold here on earth, God has the power over them. Whatever we need, he can provide. Whatever names the devil tagged us have been shaken loose. The awakening of the dead showed how our great God has power over death. Whatever the devil burried from us, God has set to resurrection. The devil's hideout is not far from God. God knows the way clearer than any other. He is ready to move a new journey with you today. He is ready to move a journey of new life with you today. 

Pray this simple prayer. Say Lord Jesus, come into my life. Feel me again with your divine power. Become my Lord and Savior and rule my life. Amen.
