         PECULIAR TREASURE

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

       If God gave His best to save human beings, then how much better are human beings? If Jesus sacrificed His glorious existence in heaven and came down to die for us - the sinners, then how much treasured are the human beings living on the planet.

It is like spending 50,000 to save an object. Could you say the fifty thousand you spent is far better than the object you saved? Obviously not, the object you saved is better than the fifty thousand you spent. It is also like buying things from the supermarket. Can you say that what you are buying is much cheaper than the fifty thousand that you are using to buy the commodity. Obviously not, the commodity that you buy is much treasured than the fifty thousand that you used.

Jesus bought us with His blood.
If God sent His son to die for us, how much treasured are we before God?

In the scripture reading, we have been tagged as special possession. What possessions do you have and what is a possession you call special. 
Anyone or anything that is tagged special obviously stands out from the many possessions. Have you heard about any other things God sent his only son for .You are the one thing God thinks about so dearly. Even in the heavens above and deep the worlds below us, there hasn't been such stories. It is we. We are the precious ones. We are Inseparable.
You are like a species that a billionaire has bought to preserve it from extinction. You and me are the apple of God's eye. If God thinks of preserving us at all costs from extinction, how much thoughts would He have towards our culmination to greater power? How much high does hHe plan to take us?

OMNIPRESENT Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. -------------------------------------------- One trouble that sets the pace of all other troubles is the fact that we draw in our minds. We may move through this world . We may encounter various situations. We may encounter various people. And of course we may encounter various challenges. What sets the pace for great challenges is thinking you are in singular. When a house is built on a single pole, it makes the house vulnerable to winds and rains. SIGNS IN THE KINGDOM   Galatians 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. -------------------------------------------- When a man came to ask Jesus where they could find the kingdom of God, Jesus replied to Him,"the kingdom of God is in you." Well, what kingdom thrives in human bodies.? There is away that may seem narrow but it is a path to the greatness of God. The things that the kingdom of God entails on are ,but a light luggage. Even within scripture, Christ said that those who are heavy weighed should come to Him and he will give them rest. That let them take His yoke , for His is lighter and good to bear.
