TRIBE OF LENDERS

TRIBE OF LENDERS   Proverbs 19:17  He who is kind and generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward him for what he has done. -------------------------------------------- It is easy to go through life with the mind of "it's not enough...it's not enough". By nature, we were created to recognize the fact that it's we first then .... We were created to survive and always know that there is not enough. Our genes have been made to think about ourselves alone and how we survive in the world of scarcity. This fact that thrives within us is not supposed to be proved true. There are several results that God has set for those that prove such rules wrong. You know, when you try to go against human nature and try to mimic the nature of God, you attract more of what God has set for the cause. As the human nature is self centered and self seeking, stepping out of such to pursue kindness and open hands attracts God's attention...it attracts the rewa

AGENDA AT THE THRONE

Image
AGENDA AT THE THRONE   Jeremiah 29:11  For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future -------------------------------------------- There is something God has always held from the time He thought about the project of earth construction. There is a thought that He has always had ever since He created Adam and Eve...a thought to all humanity. The Bible above clearly shows us this Divine agenda...it reveals the thought. God thought of making man in His image. He wanted him with his wife to multiply and fill the earth. But He also wanted them to live in ultimate happiness and joy. He wanted them to take on His Gene of recreation. He of course didn't have the plan to stage a game of sorrow and sadness to humanity...to simply see how it feels to be in sorrow and sadness. That wouldn't fill His heart because He is not a being of sorrow but a being of happiness. At His throne, He drew cl

BEARING PAIN

SUNDAY SERVICE  SERMON:                                        BEARING PAIN   Intro : Life's journey is often marked by suffering and pain. Sometimes, this pain can be so profound that it becomes a central part of our existence, especially as we approach the end of our earthly lives. Today, I want to speak to you about how we can bear this pain with grace and faith, even at the moment of death.   Prob : You feel you alone face what you face and that there is no helper to aid you through.   Purp : To give us hope that we can and can overcome all pain that presents itself before us. >>> Even Christ himself had nothing to help him when he called out for help in his agony. He wanted God to help but God didn't help. Not because God was not able to but because the formalities of his life were destined to the shedding of blood. Mere fact that he was in the human body was the fact that he was supposed to suffer and face pain like anyone else. But when God didn&#

MY BIBLE MY MIRROR

Image
MY BIBLE MY MIRROR   Hebrews 4:12  For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. -------------------------------------------- It is evident that God holds power in His word. The Israelites one day wanted to see God. They complained that Moses alone was speaking to God and that they too wanted to speak to God. God agreed and told Moses to gather them. As they were gathered, the Lord started to step out of His throne. The winds arose and lightning struck. And as we imagine, Him starting to clear His voice made earth quake and could be wasting the community. And what would happen when he spoke His precious words. Maybe the earth would disappear. If mere fact is that seeing God face to face earns you a place in the graveyard, then His words are so powerful. We have seen how much time God has taken to build His word into a Bible.

BEARING GRIEF

BEARING GRIEF  1 Peter 2:19  For it is commendable if a man bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God. -------------------------------------------- There is just no short cut to moving a line on earth without sliding to the Leeward side of the catwalk. You move and at one point you slide. It is important to fall. Christ as a man on Earth moved the runway. He made the catwalk through the thin lines. But he had his strategies through the winds. You know he didn't just move carefree, knowing that God will protect. He had his plan on how to meter through the wild. And when it came to suffering under the hands on wolves, he knew how to bear the grief. As Christians, it is of course known that we will suffer in this world. We will face persecution everywhere we go.  It is therefore important to understand how to bear the grief.  You should understand the shape of your sorrow. You should also be in position to figure out the nature of your grie

ORIENTATION OF THE GODLY

Image
ORIENTATION OF THE GODLY   1 Peter 3:9  Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. -------------------------------------------- Living in life is swaying on a platform of good and bad. It is dwindling in the airs of darkness and light. It is seeing day and night at the same time. But how do we know that something is good? We know that something is good by knowing there is a bad replica. It is obvious that good and bad people present in life. There are people that will come and insult you. There are people that will come to be good but will present their ill intensions in the relationship. Of course when insulted, your mind desires a same measure of insult to be bounced back to the person as a way of quick compensation. But the scripture has lined up. What is godly should be presented as godly. You are to pay the insults with a blessing. We can only know that you are godly with suc

THE CREED AT THE THRONE

Image
THE CREED AT THE THRONE   Psalms 40:1  I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. -------------------------------------------- There are of course alot of times we pray for something and we feel we need that fast enough. And if am not mistaken , it is most of the times that we pray. We simply want answers right then. And some demand for the answers right away. But either way, you want God to come to your aid at the time you think He should come. But have you ever wondered why some people pray and receive their answers alittle fast compared to a similar prayer someone else had? Well that happens, you can pray and I pray the same thing yet we receive answers at different times.  With the scripture above, interpreting it may seem easy, but diving into it could seem a bit hard. The psalmist says, he patiently waited, then the Lord came to him and heard Him. The important note here is patiently waited. And secondly we see that the Lord comes in after a bi
