CHANGE NOW.

*WITHIN SCRIPTURE.*  *Leviticus:26.27*   "'If in spite of this you still do not listen to me but continue to be hostile toward me, .28 then in my anger I will be hostile toward you, and I myself will punish you for your sins seven times over. --------------------------------------------  Many times, we do wrong God...and many times He does warn us. He is a God of second chance. He gives us signals concerning our sins and the wrong we have done. He doesn't wake up one morning to punish sin that you yourself are not fully aware.  The consequences that come after sin come from sins we are much aware. The problem at times is that we heed not to the warning of God. We give it a cold shoulder as though we think we not guilty enough of what they say we have done. God's punishment of sin comes after a series of warnings. The warning may come from fellow people. It may come through dreams or through visions. It could also come as convictions that you may mistake for mere instin

TRUST.

*WITHIN SCRIPTURE.*  *Psalm:20.7*   Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. .8 They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm. --------------------------------------------  Trust is the confidence and reliance on something, someone or a standard. Here within scripture, horses and chariots are used to mean physical things . Wealth, security, and people are examples of them.  We are saved by the blood of the lamb ,and in yesterday's scripture we saw how Christ after having risen from the dead...gave us ultimate power including protection. However, even with such privilege as children of God, some have less confidence and less reliance on their spiritual Lord. They trust that accumulating wealth will save them in the times of trouble. They think that the people that they surround themselves with will rescue them when there is trouble. And that having such people will open new doors in their lives. They start to

THE POWER OF RESURRECTION.

*WITHIN SCRIPTURE.*  *Mark:16.17*   And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; .18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." --------------------------------------------    One of the definite promises that christ made to his believers was ...... >Power over demons. >Ability to speak in new tongues. >Power over deadly creatures and storms. >Ultimate protection from poison and external harm.  >Power over sickness. These powers cannot be activated unless one has a deep believe in their heart. Believing in the resurrection of Christ, His sonship and His ultimate power over death.  Christ didn't rise from the dead for obvious reasons ; He rose in order to live and make contact with the living. The dead cannot work alongside the living. For if Christ contin

YOU ARE FULLY GUARDED.

 * Isaiah:54.17 *   no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me," declares the LORD. --------------------------------------------   One definite heritage that those who enter into a covenant with christ have is ultimate protection from the evil that is forged against them. We at times live in fear of witchcraft. Fearing those that ultter curse. Such fear indicates a limited mind to what you are in christ. It shows a limited confidence in christ and his ultimate power over everything.  To some extent we struggle to protect ourselves and to protect our children from all sorts of witchcraft. It is not in your power to limit the atmosphere of evil. It is not in your power to limit the strength of witchcraft. It is not in your power to disinfect curses. No. .. not in your power.... It is the power of christ to limit such principalities of evil and pr

CARRY THE YOKE OF CHRIST.

* Matthew:11.28 *   "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. .29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. .30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." --------------------------------------------   Many times , most christians want to use Christedom as a passport to their prosperity... though not conciously. They want Christ to carry their yoke as they simply move on with him. When Christ Within scripture says,....I will give you rest. Carry my yoke..., It means there is a definite exchange of burdens. As you seek help from him, you should definitely know the weight you carry in his ministries. We tend to simply go to churches without feeling a weight of making things better. As you find the church bushy, you never mind about how much it takes to have it well. At worst christian students read from church when there is thick dust...after all they feel they are upto

MAKE YOUR NAME KNOWN IN HEAVEN.

*WITHIN SCRIPTURE.*  *Acts:10.1*   At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment. .2 He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. .3 One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, "Cornelius!".4 Cornelius stared at him in fear. "What is it, Lord?" he asked. The angel answered, "Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God. --------------------------------------------  Many times many christians drag their christian life according to the influence before them. They go for fellowship if they are in position to. They give if they're prompted to. They read the word if they think they have taken long. They carry on their ministry gifts if they are under pressure by their leaders. Cornelius was not supervised by any one to do what he t

THE FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.

* Isaiah:32.17 *   The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever. --------------------------------------------  There is peace and strength of character in Christ fraternity that does not exist in the fraternities of the other world. But one key has been set forth as an assurance for the attainment of the ultimate peace, ultimate confidence.... - the attainment of righteousness. Righteousness is carrying out actions in right measure and right procedures in holy ways. Many times we are deprived of our peace because we have burning guilt in us. We are deprived of our confidence because of the strong degree of lawlessness that we feel in our hearts. We don't mean to be subject to laws that govern the body of christ. We want to be our own Master. We feel our own instincts are right. There is no government that exists without laws. Laws are standards that tame actions. They are standards that measure righteousness. The gov
