The greatest element that drives the brain to work harder is when there is a promise of pleasure afterwards.  Working can be a stone in the shoe. You never complete tasks. Every day presents it's own task list which seems never to end and also seems repetitive. A dream can feel far and too big to tackle. It turns out that she does more cooking at such times. And she complains a little bit. "Oh...am so tired of these routines. I have to go to the shopping center to collect ingredients and food. I have to rush back home and see the fire. I have to wash utensils and prepare materials to aid in cooking. Starting to cook am already tired. The food takes 'forever to boil' ohhh." She complains.
